3. Always Backstitch

With a long plush like this, it is better to aim for fully stuffed rather than overly stuffed. The giant centipede should be more flat (like a pillow) vs round and plump. This will keep your centipede plush cuddly and bendable.
5. Choose your eye finish
You can add the centipede eyes with small felt pieces or you can sew over those felt pieces with a satin stitch with embroidery thread. This gives you some flexibility depending on the look you want and the materials you have on hand.
