Crossbody Bag Pattern Fabric, Materials, and Hardware
Customize the look of your Curbside Crossbody bag pattern with fun prints, color blocked sections, or a solid color. This bag sewing pattern works well with vinyl, faux leather, leather, canvas, upholstery fabric, denim, or other similar weight fabrics. The inside can be made with quilting cotton, waterproof canvas, or lightweight upholstery fabrics.
You get to choose the combination of elements to include in your Curbside Crossbody bag. Make it with or without a flap, with or without piping, and use sew-in or grommet strap connectors. Dress it up or keep it simple to your liking. Or try different combinations and maybe pick up some new bag making skills.
This medium size crossbody bag pattern can be made with or without a stabilizer depending on the thickness/weight of your exterior material. More stiff vinyl and leather can skip the stabilizer altogether and still keep a nice square shape. Sewing it with a foam stabilizer (like ByAnnie.com Soft & Stable) and will keep the bag nice and lightweight while making your topstitching pop!
“Cathi’s patterns do not disappoint! They are very easy to read and understand, and she makes it easy to customize things to your liking.”
