With a quick Google search you can find plenty of chain and pearl necklaces. That’s just what I did to get inspired.
After sorting through my vast amount of craft and jewelry making supplies, I pulled together an assortment of items to make this chain and pearl necklace. Some things didn’t make the final cut but I’m happy with the way it turned out.
I love this chunky chain and it’s thick toggle clasp. It perfectly balanced out the whole piece.
I created another chain using wire, a delicate chain, and crystal beads. A third chain came together with headpins, more crystals, and rhinestone beads.

Another contrasting chain, a string of faux pearls, and some jump rings brought it all together in this DIY statement necklace.
This chain and pearl necklace was made as a Christmas gift for my sister-in-law. She’s a fashionable gal and I often see her wearing statement necklaces. This piece has just enough bling to sparkle during her on-stage performances.
I love the balance between the metals and soft pearls. The crystal beads and rhinestone gems add just the right amount of sparkle.
